I was like you for a while, never had a real mouse. Been pretty much using hand-me-down mice and 5$ stuff.
Then I bought a Razer Deathadder, and it's so worth it! Slides so smoothly, tracks well, you can change the dpi... Looks cool. I'm happy with it :)
If you want a truly good gaming mouse, you are going to have to spend more than 20 bucks. Sorry but that's just how it works.

I was talking about pounds, not dollars; £20 is according to google around $32. Unfortunately most countries get a hefty price increase over the US, especially on electronics.
So yeah it looks like I'll have to wait until I have a little more money. :c

if you don't want a gaming mouse, i use the dynex wireless mouse. no problems in hundreds of hours, like $8.
