Swain top, talon mid. Irelia doesn't shine ina duo lane, but it's still effective, swain bot would be usless, talon bot steals farm, enemy will prolly be a caster so talon had a good advantage, swain after lvl 6 has best sustain then irelia and his duo lane opponents would not be able to zone him.

Irelia without farm is useless as well, and Talon is a decent duo laner.

I'd have sent Talon bot personally.

I'm going to agree with Swain top in this case. I guess Ashe mid and Yi jungling? That leaves Talon and Irelia duo laning.

...Oh God, that lane would be horrifying. Two blinks of doom. >_<

The main rule of solo toppers are

-Range advantage if possible

-Ability to escape

-Good farming and 1v1

-SUSTAINABILITY (the most important)

irelia is 1v1. swain actually benefits from 2v1, because it means more healing.

Swain has more sustain with his ult than Irelia would have with her W, because she would get harassed every time she was at the creep like to heal. Swain can just sit at the tower and leech.

Most important for any champion facing multiple enemies is TURRET HUG. DONT MATTER WHO YOU ARE!!! I watch teams fail because they have a player who thinks just cause they have a ranged against two melee champs that they can harrass like a B**** then too late do they realize that if you face people like me that harrassing BS don't work.
