Somebody has told me Duo Q raises the "supposed Elo" of your team and thusly the quality of opponent as well.

I believe duo queueing makes you gain slightly less elo for a win and lose slightly more for a loss.
Ah.
I know when I duo'd in S1, I was a good 200 Elo higher than my partner.
I got like 10-15 Elo a match and he was getting like 20-25 :P
Does anyone know if it raises your team's "Collective elo" and therefore stick you vrs tougher opponents?

Not just slightly, I think it pumps up your elo at least ~50 points.
The biggest problem though is that every match we're "supposed" to win all the higher elo players on our team feed and play like ****. I'm guessing we've had the worst luck ever :<

I don't see how we're getting so many idiots every time we duo.
We also lose almost 20 elo every match despite being last picks in our team.
Something is wrong with the matchmaking..
