Tomorrow, the House of Representatives will be deciding whether horse slaughter in the United States will remain illegal, as it has been since 2006. A pending agriculture bill includes an amendment that continues to prohibit spending funds to inspect horses destined for slaughter, which means that horses cannot be commercially slaughtered in the U.S. I can't believe how serious things are getting nowadays, I really hope that the fight for horses is triumphant tomorrow!
