But Garen can outzone you pretty hard at lvl 1. Decisive Strike deals pathetic dmg at that time. If he can hit you 2 or 3 times at beginning, you are pretty much outzoned.

Garen is just a really strong lane vs renekton. Best way to beat him is to just stack armor. gl

Yeap yeap, Renek should win the war of attrition.

You should be able to bait his spin and then dash through creeps. If he comes to silence you, get your W ready before hand if you can time it.

He'll silence, you'll stun, and then walk away after your Q ^_^

Actually, Frozen Mallet is core on Garen and you build it directly or after The Brutalizer. Because Trinity Force is very meh on him. So many wasted stats... Even the slow, which he needs so much, is wasted...

I actually try to keep my teammates down so the laning phase is longer, yes. But sometimes, it ends very early...

Garen deals the most damage if he has Frozen Mallet+ Atma's Impaler.
