I main Ryze since his rework and i really like your guide, especially the strong core.

I used slightly different masteries (and runes, but only because extra rune pages are expensive and I can't afford to specialize :[), but the item build is pretty much the only way to build Ryze, lol. Though that last slot should really be left to a wild card depending on the enemy team. Void Staff if they start building MR, Hextech Sweeper if there are annoying stealths, or whatever the case may bring.

Ryze really doesn't need more than boots, tear, catalyst, shroud, and revolver to be a strong contender. So if the game calls for it I'll build that sixth utility item somewhere amidst all that before really finishing the core items.

he said that to in his guide. take them in what order you feel better. i think that i would complete staff of ages sooner to, maybe even before getting glacial shrowd, but this only if there are no ranged ad in enemy team. then i would go like this: tear>socks>sorc boots>catalyst the protector>rod of ages> anything else.

Also I use slightly different runes. My changes were MR blues, 2 Quints of Swiftness, and 1 Quint of Mana (to make up for the mana that I didnt get from those blues). This was pretty much because I didnt have the exact runes you used lol but its been working awesome.
