Because I had been contemplating running ghost + Flash with this setup much like I do with my other guide. I forgot to change it. Let me fix that...

Fixed. Thanks for pointing that out. It is part of the problem running 2 guides for the same champ... sometimes you get confused on which is which...

great guide. I'm new to mobafire so I dunno how to upvote etc, I'll figure it out. I was just wondering, Why do you have Summoner's Wrath and Summoner's Insight in your masteries if you have Ghost and Ignite as your spells?
I've started running 18/12/0 on vlad, I really like the outcome. I'll try out your masteries (minus summoner's insight though) soon :D

Should be interesting with the new Mastery builds. Probably will look at doing a Utility build on Vlad now. Though Defense looks like it will still be viable should one want it.

With he steals health from the target... but for all his other spells (, , and ) they take a percentage of Vlad's health to cast. So if you have an item with Spell Vamp on it you will actually heal back the self inflicted damage and offsets it. That is why is so important to Vlad.

Very detailed guide. by the way , one question : I thinked vlad drained health for every spell he hits, why will of ancients for extra spell vamp?

There it was. The QQers finally got another nerf. Going to update my new build tonight. I hate to tell them... it wasn't the problem.

Got to do a minor update soon to include the new Hextech changes and Tranfusion change. Neither were really nerfs. Minor inconvenience at most.

Thanks Wrath. I need to do a little minor cleaning and updating soon I think though. Especially need to add to the mid opponents section by adding Vayne and LeBlanc. Shudder.
