They dont need to laen together. By duo, I mean a good combination for the overall game. I.E. I cass mid while my friend plays galio top. We can 2v5 the enemy team easily if they got no olaf/orange/QSS/cleanse

Sona/ Alistar on support, Graves/ Caitlyn/ Tristana on AD carry.

That will probably yield the best results for a duo lane.

when u say cass+galio - morgana can stun extend his ulti too and does not need all enemies to be facing him...
same with Nunu

Tristana + Pantheon support. I have raped face with Pantheon support so far. His harass outdoes heals and his stun leads to kills.
