Last time I played Dominion I was purely dominating with Akali. Did not lose a game with her. Now though, I would not know

Also Akali isn't easy to play. Most of the champions in LoL are easy to play, thats the point. Akali has a higher skill ceiling than most, its just that its easy to carry with her. Massive difference.

I have 230 dom games and the only ones that are consistantly the most trouble in every game they are played well are:
Karthes
Singed
Rammus
Jax (Pre nerfs)
Volibear
Any tanky DPS that is played just right.
Granted I have gotten a pentakill in dominion on both Kat and Akali, I don't think they are OP against an organized enough team. In coordinated play, you need to be mostly all tanky DPS because squishys will get dived onto and arent very good early game.

People always say Karthus for Dominion but I really don't see it. As soon as everyone gets past lvl 7 they just blow Karthus up and he just dies over and over and over again.
And his ultimate is a long CD for Dominion, he ends up just becoming a one trick pony
