By support, I simply meant that your early/mid game will usually not net you a lot of kills. Early and mid game are more focused around supporting your lane mate and team during tower pushes and team fights. Gangplank's Raise Moral is an amazing support skill for both pushing and team fights, as is his ultimate. I usually have 3 times as many assists as kills by the late game, at which point I become a killing machine. I realize there are other characters that are better with a pure support build. My build is ultimately a melee carry build, I was simply sharing how I play more as a support during the first part of the game.

Dude... I don't believe you understand what "Support" truly means. Support role in League of Legends is Alistar/Janna/Sona/Soraka - They buy 2 g/10, wards. -THEY DO NOT STEAL CS- Now you want to make a support /carry, This is the best option: philostone->Shruelia(later)/CDR Boots or Merc/Warmogs/Atmas Impaler/Phantom Dancer/Up to you: FoN/Last Whisper/Randuins Because you won't have much CS, might as well just make do with tank plank.
