Which is the most used/correct abbreviation for corporation in the US?

Inc means "Incorporated"

which means the same as corporation(both can be used for describing a business) i'm just asking which is more used in the US

I'm pretty sure Corporation is more commonly used when a company is spoken of in "long form" whereas Inc. Is simply the abbreviation. I'm not 100% sure considering, as you mentioned they are interchangeable.

U're the american u should know this stuff.. i just read in ma little danish book that an american shareholder company can be abbreviated Corp. and Inc. but i think i'm gonna go with corp. Thx Jeffy :D
