Wrist is a good place to have it as well. I am thinking about getting one there to commemorate my daughters heritage (Australian, Native American, Scandinavian, and Indian (yes, both dots and feathers).
I wonder why no one likes coloured tats?
Instead get something a little bit below that. It actually looks better imo.
It's nice to have it go around your wrist too imo, instead of just like...floating on your wrist if that makes sense...
Ankle tattoos are easier to hide. As are shoulder and upper back ones. Just a thought.

As for the tattoo, I think I'll try something really really small on my wrist - just to see how much it hurts and if it's worth it. Thanks for the thought-provoking comments, guys :)
As far as regretting it, I don't regret mine yet, and I've had it for 6 years.
IMO: It's a nice tattoo but you should deviate it to make it your own (unless you designed that yourself :P). Placing it on the palm might not be the best choice, maybe somewhere else where it can be seen but not too often you might get sick of it?
