A little color is nice sometimes. But something about black and white brings out more in a picture. Like old B&W photos... something special about them. I used to watch a lot of tattoo shows and always preferred the B&W ones.
Wrist is a good place to have it as well. I am thinking about getting one there to commemorate my daughters heritage (Australian, Native American, Scandinavian, and Indian (yes, both dots and feathers).
If you're going to get one on your wrist you shouldn't get it directly on the wrist since there's essentially a bone there and you'll have less movement :/
Instead get something a little bit below that. It actually looks better imo.
It's nice to have it go around your wrist too imo, instead of just like...floating on your wrist if that makes sense...
Black and White. Small. But not on the hand. 1) very painful as many of your nerves are there. 2) might dull your sense of touch perhaps? And I know some employers prefer people without visible tattoos.
Ankle tattoos are easier to hide. As are shoulder and upper back ones. Just a thought.
I'm enjoying the discussion here. I know what I am getting, 99% sure of, is a belly button ring once I am svelte enough :P
As for the tattoo, I think I'll try something really really small on my wrist - just to see how much it hurts and if it's worth it. Thanks for the thought-provoking comments, guys :)
Well, if you really like it, then go for it. I don't think your hand is a good idea though, but on your wrist, why not. I know a lot of girls with tattoos on that spot, it's discreet while being exposed. Besides, it's not a large tattoo at all, so think about it and if you really want it, go for it, it's your body and you only live once. There are stupider choices in life besides tiny tattoos.
I wouldn't get it on your hand like that, at least if you plan to work in the professional world. While they're not as taboo as they once were, it's a subconscious decision people make when they see it. Get it somewhere you can hide it.
As far as regretting it, I don't regret mine yet, and I've had it for 6 years.
I think what jhoijhoi meant was having a huge tattoos just seem unprofessional and if they do hire you, you are most likely told to have it covered up.
IMO: It's a nice tattoo but you should deviate it to make it your own (unless you designed that yourself :P). Placing it on the palm might not be the best choice, maybe somewhere else where it can be seen but not too often you might get sick of it?
It will hurt like **** in a tender area like that tho to get it done
:S
But I like color too

I wonder why no one likes coloured tats?

That is all.
