Hey Duff, I just played GP vs Riven and got owned.
Granted it was going alright until Winter came to gank and she got a doublekill. :P

So, knowing that I think GP is a counter to Riven, you come tell me that you played GP vrs Riven and lost the match up... >:P
I will mention I've never lost to a Riven with GP and pick GP when I see a Riven top because I find it's a direct counter... :P

I don't see how though. I mean, GP has great harass but he can't really duel with Riven, and it's very easy for Riven to get to him by using her shield, stun, Q combo, which also blocks the damage from his Q. After that all he has are autoattacks while Riven is destroying him with her Q.
I guess maybe if you use one of your crazy-*** full armour runesets it might be possible. I was already using armour yellows, 9 points in Defence and started cloth armour though.
