If you duplicated it (the c4d), dropped the piece that is above your render down a bit, so it's closer to the base of the tag, while having the duplicated layer behind the render stay where it is, it could create some depth. Does that make sense? It's almost exactly what I did in my "Smudged Beauty" tut.

Overall I darkened the image and I've added some lighting effects. I've added blood on his blade and a tattoo of a dragon on his arm. I've added relief and a motion-like effect with radial blur. And, of course, added the text and the border.
