I thought i did, but I guess i didn't but hey, if peeps don't like smite, well who am i to say you aren't? But personally i fell that WW without smite is good, but other seem to think not, which is fine.
It's because there are important reasons to take smite ^-^
@RosePhoenix; "And actual comment on the guide:
Very neat and clean guide! The information is grouped where they really should be grouped.
I disagree with the items, runes, and masteries though.
Taking both Madred's and Wriggle's is a bit overkill. You also might want some more tankiness, as you have little to no MR, besides Merc, Wit's, and Spirit Visage. Also, in most situations you'll want to have Merc Treads over Zerker's, so you might as well put that in your general build at the top.
@Runes: You have no tankiness at all with your runes. Also, since you're going on-hit, m-pen marks might work better then flat AD. You should also list out other runes that are viable. You note that Warwick is squishy in your guide. Getting health doesn't make a champion necessarily tankier. Getting flat on resistances benefit the champion more in tankiness then getting flat health. (Someone's done the math before)
Good luck. I'm not voting because I feel you can improve this."
This, this is called constructive criticism. Well done. Certain +1 rep by me. Perhaps you understand my overextended point. I just can't stand people who can't even answer in to the guide and just saying "smite -1". (even thought I may do it myself sometimes, I just hope that someone is then there and reminds me) Not a reason for downvote at all. Without constructive criticism you can't develop pretty much anything. And that's the idea of this site. Or at least I think so. Developing each others builds? Sounds fun and useful.
Oh, and btw, veterans joined the group of editors and scouts.
And for @Xynasis "I myself am very critical as to which guides I vote upon." - You was very critical. You just need to find that constructive side. :D That "smite -1" is good only for your comment-score and that shouldn't be the most important aspect. If you can't say anything constructive then you shouldn't answer the guide at all. Good point or maybe it's just me who believes so? And for "I see your argument for "Ignite yields better ganks..." I have to say that those two paragraphs are absolutely fancy and I like it. Just try to do those constructive comments on your first message and not after someone's complain.
@Temzilla "I CAN'T upvote a guide that suggests jungling without smite." - You don't have to? But you don't have to downvote it neither for the same reason?

I don't think there's any problem with downvoting a guide because of one major reason. Not taking smite should be a valid reason for downvoting.
I don't think there's a problem with posting a simple reason for downvoting, unless intentionally trolling ofc.
I think the author can follow up asking the downvoter for specific reasons.
The downvoter may not have wanted to spend time on this guide and may have posted a simple reason as to why they downvoted.

So many reasons, on why i should take smite! I understand this, and i guess i have to revamp EVERYTHING, i might just scrap this guide all together and go with my long awaiting malphite build sitting in the works. Hope you all don't hate on Slow Malphite! But beside the point, ty for all your adivce on why i should take smite, me myself will try this on WW, but the whole point was to not use it at all, so i probally will just stop playing WW. So ty for all your advice and i guess ill scarp this build!

Good luck dude! The decision is yours to make.
Glad you take the advice other people give you!

And that's extremely invalid argument since what stealing means? Bursting in the right time. So by saying those words you would mean that guy who wrote this guide is "idiot" who doesn't know how to last hit Nashor etc. There are two teams. If enemy can burst your Nashor, then you can do it also.
Just couple of points as an independent critic. Oh almost forgot: I btw belive that jungler should take smite. It's just not a reason to hate anything. Different kind of guides for different kind of styles.
If the enemy can hit nashor for 700 true damage, and you can't, They can burst Nashor, and you can't.
Smite is 1000% necessary if you're going to be a jungler.
Personally, as a scout, i don't have tons of time to look at tons of guides all day, so i just check the "recent comments" section very often, and if something looks interesting, i come into the thread to leave my comments as well.
I CAN'T upvote a guide that suggests jungling without smite.
Mmh looks like editors&scouts are rushing guides down just for fun. I am not sure if it's good thing that those high-reputation "Community-leaders" are just pretty much insulting guys who have just started. If those "the most respectful-guys" are doing so, then I could expect that this would be kinda filthy community but I don't think so. I belive that the power and the future of this community is in those new guys who are just doing their own stuff. Respectfully and with their passion to thbis game. Just try to inspire them. Don't bark em down.

I'm not insulting anybody.
If I was like "LOL **** BUILD -1" I'd have insulted the author. I gave a good reason as to why I voted as I did. You can't expect EVERY guide to be perfect, and as such you will never upvote them all. I myself am very critical as to which guides I vote upon.
They are trying new stuff, of course it works, but why do that when Smite works better? For one, Warwick has no burst. For two, any enemy with Smite has a far better chance of stealing than one that doesn't. It's not a case of simply bursting it. It's fairly impossible for most champions to deal 820 TRUE damage to Nashor (especially considering its large resistances) in 0.1 seconds.
Also, if you're soloing either of these (which Warwick is, and has been revered for doing so in the past), you are physically unable to produce such a burst. You NEED Smite to secure important map objectives.
Having differing opinions of something doesn't mean I'm insulting anybody. I don't like sprouts, that doesn't mean I'm insulting people who do.
@Arcana3
I see your argument for "Ignite yields better ganks", though Smite would increase your level faster (and give you more buffs) to gank with. A level 4 WW with red buff is more scary than one that's level 3 and without it, wouldn't you agree? This also results in faster and more frequent ganks after 6, since you're 6 faster. Level 6 is the time WW should primarily start his proper ganks, too, as I'm sure you're aware.
You have Flash anyway, WW's main ganking tool. WW has no slow, stun, or reliable CC out of his ult, I'd agree. If you want a jungler that can gank pre-6, you don't go for WW though, not to mention the fact Ignite doesn't give you any of these. More damage is great, though you'd do that if you had the correct buffs or were higher level. Someone like Jarvan/Riven/Rammus would suit you well, able to pull off devastating ganks early on. This is not Warwick's purpose, and trying to make him a worse version of these champions seems silly.
