Mundo's not a pure tank at all lawl.

Yeah, but since he's basically a damage-less meat shield late he's the closest I can think of. Every other possible champ I'd slot into offtank, not dedicated tank. I guess I forgot about Amumu, and Sejuani is a candidate, but that's about as long as my list gets. Everyone else focuses more on DPS than initiation, mitigation, and interruption (which are the hallmarks of a pure tank, from what I understand).

Shen, Rammus, Mundo, anyone really.

They all have some form of incentive for building damage.

In order to be a full tank, you have to have 0 incentive for building any damage items.

Tanks are meant to take damage.

Doesn't mean they can't give out damage either, what makes a tank a tank is the ability to take a punch and give it out.

Actually that's pretty much not true in games, tanks generally have extremely little damage in exchange for being almost invincible. Someone who can take some damage if needed and still deal damage is generally called an offtank.

Yes, he's more like a damageless meatshield.

Or you can build damage and he fails at everything.

That doesn't mean he's a tank, that just means he's bad.

In my eyes a tank is defined by it's ability to CC. Full tanks dont need damage, just thick skin and CC.

Offtanks can build tank or damage.

I agree, but the way LoL is going won't let us build full tanks. You can choose Ashe and kill a full tank Amumu in seconds

Agree, the only possible exception is in organized competitive play.
