Kog is definitely more damage, and more reliable overall in general.
That said
Everyone hates EZ and if you get really good with his skillshots he can be extremely fun to play. You will get raged on and hated if you screw up even the slightest amount though.
I'd say you get a lot more bang for your buck out of Kog'Maw.

Both are niche picks but both are strong. Ez is a good mid lane champ and forces people out of lane really well if aggressive enough.

^lol you have that completely backwards . Ez's only team utility is his mediocre attack speed buff. Kog has a nice slow and armor /ms de buff . Log is better for beating tanks. Kog has better consistent aoe damage with his ult and slow . And ez pokes better with his q and w .

Ezreal. AS Slow to the enemy's AD carry and the rest of their team along with AoE damage. Ult is huge AoE damage in a teamfight.

He's uber squish, range is average, sub par DPS for a carry.
Strongest points; sustained poke, mobility.
Neither are going to crush most games, making him very situational as an AD carry.

Haha, I know, but the AD versions bore me. Both are super squishy, Ez has no damage, and Kog has no escapes. Yawn. Out of the AD versions I'd rather play Kog, because he's high-risk high-reward, while Ez is high-risk no-reward. Still though, there are like 10 AD carries I'd rather play before either.
