We do not currently allow third parties to use the content or data from MOBAFire, so no you can't crawl the site :) That's not to say we won't allow it at some point in the future but not right now. If our policy changes, or we decide to get into mobile apps, you will hear about it in our news.
^ Lol.

Dr. admin, "We do not currently allow third parties to use the content or data from MOBAFire"? Now, I don't want to get all lawyered here, but what exactly is the difference between 'use' and 'display'? surely, you allow thrid-party browsers to display your content and data. And interpret it. Also, you allow browsers to strip your site for pictures and commercials. I don't get it entirely, could you clarify what it is that a 3'rd party musn't do?
yeah ur right, a moba app would be excellent for android/iphone/ipod/ipad

Thanks to jhoijhoi, albableat, Arcana3, GMD and I for the awesome sigs! im a zombie
A mobile app would be nifty, but image an app that could overlay LoL, like jungler-timers.
Like, press a hotkey to display a semi-transparent, resizeable, positionable overlay that displayed guides, builds and whatnot.
Well, I've managed to convince myself, so I'm starting to write that application now. If Mobafire really don't want to come around I'll make an upload/rate/comment interface, then people who've written guides will have to upload to it too, but at least we'll have a convinient way to access the data we need.

They can't actually stop you from taking their guides... All you need is pen and paper and one ip address. They can stop crawling but not if you change the curl's header information.. I just really don't want to be sued. I don't know quite enough about C# to develop the App just the php to rip all of their relevant guides and organize them. It's really more of a side project of mine than something I would charge money for.

I'm just getting into programming for iOS and don't want to overstep my bounds by curling your site for info if this is against the rules or frowned upon.
Thanks for reading :)
