I get it in most games with Swain, most of the time before Rabadons, like Duff said.
It's just too good because you dish out enough damage by yourself early and don't need ****tons of AP.
I usually go Boots-2xDoran's-Sorcerer's-SV/Rabadons-Rabadons/SV. Depends on how fed I am, huehue.

i love this item on champions like vlad,swain and ahri when implaying mid with them it gives a massive advantage to you, it is a very early item to build though and should be sold lategame for a better item. definately a fantastic item for ap carries who can regen health in lane. it loses its worth slightly top as most of the time ad offtanks go top so the magic resist portion is slightly wasted.
