Ah. I just realized that the wording there was a little vague. I've changed it to be more clear: once you've upgraded your Heart of Gold into Locket of the Iron Solari, it can no longer be upgraded into Randuin's Omen because you've used it up. This is always a downside to upgrading a GP10 item; you lose the income.

I'm trying to shy away from indicating that any one item is the best choice for a given champion. I've added a section on specialists and generalists that you might consider taking a look at.

I could tell you which champions to build which items on, but instead let me tell you how to choose for yourself:

1. Ask yourself: Am I a specialist? If so, then go get your Infinity Edge or your Rabadon's Deathcap or whatever. Your job is to stand in the back and deal damage, not stand in the front and take it; you don't have time for most of these items. Your teammates (the generalists) are stalling and ganking for the purpose of getting you those items.

2. If you're not a specialist, look at the item that you're considering buying. Ask yourself:
--Can I use all (or most) of the stats that this item provides?
---If so, can I effectively use any passive that it might have?
----If so, is this item worth my money?

If you answered yes to all of these questions, you should at least consider buying the item in question. The order in which you buy your items may be largely dependent on how well specific opponents are doing.

Let's take Wit's End as an example (it's a good item on many champions).
--Am I [let's say Warwick, or Jarvan IV, or Skarner] a specialist? [No. If your team is telling you to jungle, support, or go solo top it is unlikely that you are a specialist.]
--Can I use the Magic Resistance? [I'll answer this for you: almost assuredly yes]
--Can I use the Attack Speed? [Do I do a lot of auto-attacking? What will auto-attacking more get me? On Warwick and Skarner it help with their passives. Jarvan IV is only using it to hit things more, but it's still not useless like it would probably be be on Karthus or Fiddlesticks.]
--How effectively can I use the passive? [If I *do* rely on my auto-attacks for a good portion of my damage, then I've gained 42 damage to go with my newfound attack speed. Warwick is the best example here, since his ultimate lets him attack several times in quick succession.]
--Is Wit's End worth my money? [Check out this handy guide and see. As long as you're using all of the stats, you want the highest Total Gold Value for the lowest actual spent gold. [[Wit's End]] clocks in at about 4000, or roughly double what you pay for it. It's a good buy.]

I like the maths you did here and that you provided clear explanations for each of the items.

Maybe a small point of improvement: show some examples of which champions go well with which items for niche items. That might be useful for newer player (like me...)
