Wukong, too versatile to be true.
Shuddup Wintuh, Udyr is the mantigerturtlebearphoenix.
Alright, well I plan to jungle primarily with Udyr, so something like R-W-R-E-R-Q-R-W-R-W-W-W-E-E-E-E-Q-Q?
That is fine, though you may want to put points in Bear instead of Turtle depending on how the ganks are going and whether there are early teamfights. Also you don't necessarily need to skill Tiger that early, it depends. On jungle Udyr I only really use Tiger when I am alternating Tiger/Phoenix for maximum DPS - for example, Dragons, Towers + Inhibs and Baron.

TL;DR - Udyr is a ****ing boss who will punch you in the face and take your sweets.
GET OUT OF MY HONEY, TURTLEMANTIGERPHOENIXBEAR!
You can't peddle papooses with a dancing monkey.

Phoenix if you're jungling, Tiger if you're laning.
Phoenix is also fantastic in lane against the right champs.
There's a number of solo top champs who can't farm very well under tower. Phoe rapes them by outpushing.

I play Tiger Udyr in the jungle. What you lose out on in AoE, you make up for in instant damage when it comes to ganks. It's also a lot easier to push towers/get objectives because of your AS. Lastly, that DoT has gotten me more than a few kills from would-be escapees with flash. :P

@Duff, I know, and I did mention that Udyr is very versatile and you can essentially go for any skill order on him depending on your playstyle and the situation. As general advice for a new Udyr player I think my advice is pretty sound though.

Don't bother with the random point in Q until the end.
