Saw Urgot on sale, read your guide, bought it straight away and no regret. Loved the voice acting and skill visuals, and your guide did a great job helping me learn to use Urgot.
I'd say 21/0/9 mastery is better though. 9 points in Defense doesn't really help much with survival if get ganked, while 9 points in utility gains mana regen (great help before getting Tears), summoner skill CDR (more Flash/Exhaust), and Runic Affinity (reducing the frequency and time wasted on trekking to the blue camp and back). Moreover the later two cannot be gained via items, while armor and HP can always be solved with gold.
humhum i would do the frozen heart as core. other things r good
Done! Thanks for the suggestion!
"This build is for lower ELO play"
That's not an acceptable excuse for a poor guide.
I nvr said it was, did I? That comment isn't helpful to me at all, right? I apologize if you feel that this guide is trashy, but perhaps you could tell me what you disliked instead?
Let me explain why I made that statement : "This build is for lower ELO play". As written later on in the same paragraph, I said that lower ELO players shouldn't blindly follow the playstyles of pro players as they might not fully understand how/why the pro players do it. Can you imagine a Bronze V player going: "OMG Genja used Urgot to 1v2 bot against Dignitas and he raped them so hard. Time to instalock Urgot next ranked and ask for a 1v2 bot. Free win." Yet again, I apologize if my phrasing wasn't clear, but that statement was NEVER meant as an excuse.
And I believe that if someone of high ELO (such as yourself, being in Diamond) wants to learn a new champion, that person would at most use a guide as a reference but would prefer to use his own favoured playstyle even if it completely differed from the guide, as he would have a wealth of mechanics and experience to know whats best for his playstyle. You're not going to tell Diamondprox that jungle Karma is stupid just because so little people played it that way before he did.
Also, if some high ELO player needs to view a guide for a champion, it means that he might not be as proficient on that champion as compared to the rest of his champion pool. So, he's still gonna just play that champ in a High ELO ranked game and lower his chances of winning?
That's not an acceptable excuse for a poor guide.
But I would love to play with your Urgot and see it in action sometime.:3
Thanks for that! :)
