As Lee Sin you could probably simply level W first to outsustain/shield WW - I don't play Lee though.
Considering the Attack Speed Debuff - WW usually (!) has a big advantage in early (!) auto-attack-battles since his passive ramps up and heals for quiet a lot. That's why an (early) attack speed debuff is so good against him, if he tries to duel you.
Having played WW top a few times, I have to say, there are an astounding amount of enemies around 1500-1700, which let you auto-attack them and sometimes even try to duel way too early.. Easy pray. At around 1800-1900 not-so-much anymore - but still happens sometimes.
My suggestions against WW are either Gangplank or Olaf.
Gangplank with an Executioners Calling + Chalice + other Null-Magic-Mantle item + Defensive Runes and Masteries straight up beats and considerably out-harasses WW.
Olaf with Executioners Calling + some MR items, and WW can't do anything anymore alone. And even if the jungler Comes, Olaf has his ult to easily escape.
In general:
- Simply don't let yourself get harassed with Q or auto attacks without retaliating.
- On most Champions you can't beat WW in an early Auto-Attack battles due to his passive
- If nothing else works, push the minion wave to WWs tower and start counterjungling/ganking other lanes while WW has to stay top or lose creeps - he is incredibly weak in pushing lanes.
- MR is EXTREMELY good against WW, since it does not only lower his damage output, but also his healing

Olaf-WW is a close lane for both sides, Olaf can harass with E and sustain with W and lantern / vamp scepter, WW harass and sustain with Q (and little sustain with passive, last hitting).
Olaf can counterbuild (MR rune page, mercury + giant belt + negatron) pretty effectivly, otherwise he would be destroyed.
As a (average) WW, I had some trouble against a chogath (which whent mercury wits end). His sustain makes him regen more that I can harass him, and his ability to push the lane hard makes the WW farming under tower (what he does not like).
In this match up both can CC well when a gank from jungler happen, but Cho has more escape if he get ganked.
I won that lane because of my good jungler and because of his bad one, otherwise it would have been equal / light loss (lose) for me.
PS : I guess a good Lee can Q->Q the WW then W back to a minion, doing it fast does not allow WW to Q the Lee sin (lot of "if" in this theory). Never played that matchup, btw never faced any good lee top ...

You either go Q/E>W to go balls deep and run into him with heightened resistances so his Q won't hurt as much, or W first to harass easier because WW is melee and you can take advantage with your range.

I'm a super aggressive top lane player, WW is my greatest ***** kill. He just doesn't die.
I like to run murder face top laners and shut people down.
That being said, I think Akali is a good option, because when she dings 6, all of her damage happens at once, and WW doesn't get to use his Q over and over again to heal up after the fact.

And thats why hes one of the hardest lanes for lee. If a ww is trying to trade with a lee hes ******ed. he can, however, out sustain lee.

Yea i play him pretty standard. You rape ww top just like you rape everyone with kennen top, you just spam your autoattacks and when he comes to try and harass with Q you give him your Q+W while backing off. you are pretty much untouchable while out dpsing his sustain and you can deal with the creep damage you are gonna inevitably take because of spell vamp.
basically you play super aggressive (but not stupid)
Hmm Executioners Calling in general sounds like a good idea...i heard Wriggle+Executioners Calling combo is like, you unbeatable 1on1 in top-lane cuz u outsustain ANYONE.
I would trust Khazem in his Lee Sin argument, he's the best solo-top player i played with(i dare to say even better then Winter!)
And im maining Kat atm and i dont think she counter's WW, but maybe im still to noob for it :/

I suggest not getting both, Wriggles and Exe. It's true, it would give you a strong laning advantage (well, at least you wouldn't lose..), but beyond that your build will lack either tankyness or damage output, depending on Champion.
As in - your core build would probably be set back too far.
I agree that it's a close call with Wriggles. But if you get Executioners Calling, it will be very onesided ^^
