But isn't the grass so much greener in the forest?

Anyhow, Alistar is kinda strong top.
Rod of Ages, Atma's Impaler, Abyssal Mask, Trinity Force, Guardian Angel and some random boots, so aesthetic.

Why buy Atmas? It's not highly cost efficient because you're not getting any real HP items.
Get something better like Frozen heart for the CDR and higher armor value.

If I were gonna solo top Alistar, I'd consider Wriggle's or D blade stack -> PD. Personally speaking here.

Because I can, RoA+Atmas+Trinity is OP on Alistar and Malphite.

Atma is deadly cost efficient without hp item, so it is with ROA/TF

I'm quite afraid of the cost of the build however, and how alistar can deal against ranged ..

You will still end up at 3k hp, and the extra AD on the Trinity proc is kinda awesome.
