I have never played a game where people rage on new players as much as LoL. If you are new and havent encountered these people yet, then here's your warning, if you're not the perfect player then prepared for ragers. I just started trying Yi out and I have no clue what people think when you tell someone you are still new to LoL and don't know everything yet? Is that somehow offensive to you guys?

It reminds me how i use to play alistar all the time when i was new, and whenever i got a kill people wouldn't stop raging at me cause apperantly " ALI IS TANK DOESN'T NEED KILLS " Oh he can be played tank but hes best as support. also that, if you get kills they are ks, if you don't your noob. Get used to it, ignore it, make your way to the 30 =P where everything is a "bit" better.

Good luck buddy (:

^^ yeah kinda. But ragers and flamers will never go away. If you are low level, at least you have an excuse to make mistakes lol. When you put yourself into this kind of game, you put yourself in with an... interesting group of people. You have your trolls (whose sole purpose in life is to make their teammates rage by purposely acting as stupid as possible), you have the just plain stupid people (the ones that make all kinds of idiotic mistakes and blame everyone BUT themselves) and then you have the way over enthused, hyper aggressive *******s that rage at you for having 10 cs lower than your opponent 10 minutes in. Then you have ppl like me that try not to flame too hard but occasionally do anyway just because some situations you cannot prepare yourself mentally for just because it is so out of this world ******ed. Yes, its offensive, but the times when you run a perfect game with friendly people and make ppl auto surrender at 20 minutes kinda makes up for it. Even tho those are less common. Its kind of like playing slot machines when you solo q...

heh, i was expecting this thread to get flamed as well, the fact that people actually posted that somewhat agree solidifies my impression of at least some of the LoL community.

Do what i did. Have 2 folders for friends, one labeled "friends" and one labeled "GOOD friends". Keep the people that add YOU in the "friends" folder, and keep the people YOU add in the "GOOD friends" folder. Only add people that are friendly, cooperative, and good at the game, and dont stop doing that ever, so you eventually have a MASSIVE friend pool that are all talented and fun to play with so you can go in to games with one or two of them and 1) have a better time playing and 2) have a better chance of winning. Skype/temspeak/vent is a MUST for these situations, especially if you want to run a lane together. Just some advice, its what ive found to be most effective at making the game more fun XD

I don't mind ragers - what I hate are rage-quitters - going AFK as soon as something is against their will.
But this is the price of playing a free-2-play game haunted by 10yolds - I'm still waiting on the "grown-up-league" ...
don't mak me LOL

Don't worry about the rage/flaming Wraken. It happens and there's nothing you can do about it short of ignoring the person. I like to get into a lively debate with my ragers about how they would have done it differently. Sometimes if you apologize if you've really did screw up it helps, but then sometimes it doesn't. I also like to remind them that I'm new to the game and not a level 30 smurf like they are (usually).

If you have an issue with people raging, don't ever try to jungle lol. Top lane loses? Jungles fault. Bot lane dies to a gank? jungles fault. Your team loses game? Jungles fault. You score 22-4-9 and still lose while in the jungle role? It's your fault.

It's just how league is, best advice is to ignore them. Most of them are raging at you without even knowing the correct reason why they should/shouldn't be raging anyways. Just like in any other online game as Luther said earlier, there will always be trolls, ragers, newbs, pros, etc.

Just gotta take it all in stride.
