I'm sure some people are working on one already :P (I don't know who might though)
The only problem is that it takes a very long time to type out that information.

Builds are always special for each champion, and top usually have more roles than jungle so hard to generalise.
If you for some reason want to follow my ranked journey to gold, you can do it Here.
I am against asking for rep, only rep me if you think I contributed well or said something wise.

Depending on the champion of your choice top, some are more natural gankers :-)

There's no real "this is how you solo top" guide. It's pretty much impossible.
Singed, Cho, Maokai all want to farm for 40 minutes.
Riven, Tryn, Shyvana all want to go balls deep aggression.
There are also some champions that are in between and you have to learn from experience what counters what.

To make a solo top guide, you'd have to make a "Do this" for every single champ against every single champion.
THEN you'd have to make a "Except when" section for every single ganky aggressive jungler.
THEN you'd have to make a "Be careful when" section for every mobile mid laner who might gank you.
Just these three sections would be an impossible amount of work for a game who's rhythm isn't even going to remain consistent for 6 consecutive months.
The pace of evolution of League simply makes "General X" guides not worth the effort.
In fact, the general jungle guides and general anything guides this site has are full of mis information because it's just not possible for one guy to accurately judge and article the strength of every potential champion that can be played in those roles.
General guides like this are thusly COUNTER PRODUCTIVE and promote sheeping. I've always spoken against these kinds of guides, and will always continue to do so. They're not realistically possible.

Like Duff said it's a ridiculous amount of work and very few people around here have the required mastery of top lane.

I wouldn't have bothered, but -

Anyone?
"evolution of League simply makes "General X" guides not worth the effort"
"full of mis information"
Quotes from your guide -
"The current meta game in mid ELO is simple. You have 2 solo lanes, 1 jungler, and 2 champs in a duo lane bottom. Generally, the AD carry takes mid, the AP carry takes top, and then you've got either a tank or a support bottom lane, and any champion capable of jungling and ganking in the jungle."
"The New Metagame"
"New Metagame"
"New"
"Trinity Tanks are the best off-tanks"
"this style of play is vrs. the current meta-game in place at mid-high ELO."
So, you mentioned that guides such as yours are "not worth the effort", "promote sheeping" (which, might I add, isn't a word), and "I've always spoken against these kinds of guides, and will always continue to do so. They're not realistically possible."
It's fair to say your guide is very much out of date, too. Almost everyone will agree with me when I say that. Why, then I ask, do you keep your out of date guide still public, and complain about general guides becoming out of date?
@OP
You'd have to illustrate every single lane match up, and it might be better just to find a "Laning Basics" post somewhere. There are far too many variables to make a top lane guide. The only think that will help you, other than experience, is general laning ability.

I am surely not going to do this sort of guide as I am lazy over 9000 but I would like to know if I would be the only one enjoying a general solo top guide?
