Like Jeffy said, no ap ratios. However I think he might need the as and movespeed. But that you can get wits and fon for, also tanky. Been trying normal bruiser with lantern, phage, wits end, atma and then according to the game. Just dont feel its that good at least now, as the movespeed of 385 is really painful.
Since when are AP-ratios why you want 
Trinity Force? I mean, even if AP is totally useless for someone, he can still use Trinity Force.

Well for starters nick, how about I build AD on Veigar, it's totally useless for him but he can still get use out of it.
^That is what we call a bad argument. A "generic" response, not because the response itself is generic but because it is a phrase that can be applied to infinitely many subjects and achieve nearly the same result EVERY time.
Let's cover WHY spending 4k gold on an item that doesn't give you 100% use is bad.
1. Waste of 4k gold
2. Is easily made up by similar items which will give an AD bruiser MORE durability/damage. For almost the same price.
3. The idea is to build effectively with what income you generate, this is why you don't see tournament ranked players trying to build rabadon's death cap on supports. Sure AP on most supports is nice, but there are are more utility oriented items that supports can build which make them overall more effective.
4. Overall the item WOULD NOT benefit Dairus. Just like Tri Force on Riven isn't a GOOD item. Neither of these champs can benefit more from TF than they do from other items.
But hey, build how you want, if you think Trinity Force on Dairus is going to be good, then build it. I'll stick to something I consider optimal.

Blood thirster.
Last whisper.
Warmogs or straight randuins.
Replace wriggles for mr if needed.
Build situationally of course but core will be frozen mallet blood thirster last whisper.

-He kitable as he has to melee you before he can stick to you.
-He has zero escape.
-He has no gap closer except a short ranged pull which freezes himself in place well casting. And if you use your ult to gap close, well sucks to be you.

Hmm I will try that, was thinking something similar when I saw his skill, but never tried it. Did wriggles, phage, wits end and amta instead, not working out well. What did you run so far with mastery and runes? Also how do you deal with his 385 movement speed with tier 2 boots?
Yeah Venom has always been a favorite of mine. I saw it the first them and went ''DAMN SON!'' and was going to say I love it, but forgot. Ready to vote that one as one of your best, cause its Venom and you caught the beauty with him.
