You could also try this one time:
Go to Start, Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC. This will open Device Manager. Look at the devices for any that have a red X, or yellow !, or any that don't show as working correctly. If you find any, right click them and choose to "remove" or "uninstall" them. On next bootup Windows will "find" the device again and reinstall the drivers for it - wait until you get the message "your new hardware is installed and ready to use". It can take a few minutes to show that message.
Looks like filesystem corruption to me. run cmd, then "chkdsk C: /x" (without the " " signs) and see what errors come up. if it wont run with the /x switch just run it with C:
well, I elaborately explained it on the first page...

What OS and which Mainboard do you use?
If you use XP service Pack 2 or higher then try the following:
Click Start (bottom left corner desktop)
then "execute" or something equivalent in your language :)
type "devmgmt.msc" (without the "")
ENTER
With right mouse button press on the processor (INTEL?)
"actualise driver"
Sorry to say, but that looks like the blue screen of death :O Btw, my mom litteraly threw my computer, (Laptop) and now its got this weird clicking sound... and Windows won't boot up now, so if my assumption is correct... Its broken forever and, I can't fix right?

1) Restart PC and see if problem still persists
2) Repeat step 1
3) Do as they say on the screen
4) Take a good physical memory dump.
5) Go to a repair shop
6) Destroy PC. Appropriate materials to use are hands, hammer, head, saw.
7) Throw PC out of your window and don't care.
If it is fixed you immediately stop proceeding through the steps of course :)
Actually it was a joke. this stupid computer is making me mad. I am eventually going to take it to BestBuy because I don't feel like messing with it to make it worse. I hope they can fix it or I will kill them....
