Who will win Euro 2012 (From the Quarter-Finalists)
Well seeing as like 60-70% of my blood is Prussian/German, and they have one of the best and most consistent teams, yes, it is so :D!
GERMANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow I am disappointed in you guys
Spain's play is brilliant, not a single team in the world that can do it the way they can.
I, for one, find it very entertaining to watch
Spain is pretty epic. I was one of the only people I knew who was like, "No, they could definitely beat Germany in this here world cup." and then they did :'[

They can play really good football, but it becomes annoying when they're passing the ball around on their own half and the commentator still goes bananas saying they are awesome.
Honestly, they waste too much time passing the ball around on their own half imo. Once they start attacking and combining on the enemy half it is entertaining to watch, but they really don't do that often enough for me.
Sad about England losing, but it was a deserved victory for Italy overall. gg
Spain's game is all about ball possession. That's what they do, they get the ball, and they keep the ball.
I think part of their game is to get their opponents used to not having ball possession, and make them feel like they can't get the ball no matter what they do.
Then bit by bit you'll see them move forward, but even then they continue to pass the ball around a lot before attacking. It's quite dizzying.

Oh, not very exciting, but very effective.
Then again neither is Germany's style :D
*Stands in front of own goal with almost entire team for 20 minutes*
WE GOT THE BALL ONE TIME GOGOGOGOGOGO GET A GOAL NOWNOWNOW.
Did it work? If so, add 1 point. If not, stand in front of goal for another 20 minutes.

All I have to say is: Portugal FTW
YYEEAA BBRROO!!! Portugal ftw =D
But yea, in regards to the styles of football which each team plays, here's my opinion:
Spain: Playing against possession teams, which I have experienced in RL, is extremely difficult both physically and mentally. On a mental level, you have far less chances per game, which can pressure you when you do get a rare opportunity, which scare you mentally and make you miss simple chances. On a physical level, the constant sliding of defensive banks can be extremely tiring, especially in warm weather.
As a result, Spain's style of football is extremely effective in terms of winning matches, but I will admit that I am opposed to playing like that on a consistent basis.
Germany: I have nothing wrong with Germany's style of football. Sure it's fairly counter-attack, but at least it creates interesting opportunities or even result in an end-to-end games, which are extremely entertaining :).
England: England fan's have got to be happy with their team's performance, but the most important part is still to come: building on the performance of these Euros and develop the youth players in order to be successful in future competitions. I think Roy's job is basically done now though, and I imagine he will move on before the next World Cup.

Also, I didn't put Czech Republic and Greece in the poll because Czech Republic had already been eliminated and in all honesty, Greece had very little chance of beating Germany, let alone winning the entire tournament.

I think Spain or Germany will win, since they just have more class than the rest and they have that important ability to control matches with possesion, Spain might be a bit ahead of Germany, since they have a stronger defense, though I would rather have Germany winning the title. To me Spain is boring to watch 80% of the time, where they are just playing the ball from side to side in eternity :p
Completely right, but I have to disagree with the defence point. The likes of Lahm and Hummels are the some of the best in the world, and with Puyol out due to injury means that you could make an argument for Germany having a strong defence than Spain.
