1. bot games are to improve mechanisms usually as normal games, the whole meta changes, so you needa practice in normals to do well in them
2. you can either choose one and keep playing him/her, or you can keep playing every champ, and sooner or later, you'll find your preferred one

Hello there ^^
It's understandable you're having
troubles, if you're only just starting
out. I say, just give it some time.
There's many things to take in when
you're first learning how things work.
You'll naturally get better, or at least
have the oppertunity to improve aspects of
your game, when you reach the higher levels.
This is because you'll get access to more
runes, better ones too, as well as more
mastery points. These extra things can
really make or break a game for you.
Once you're level 30 for example, you'll
be able to follow one of the guides from the
mobafire site. Just pick a champion and focus
that champion. It can be hard to pick, sure, but
many things they carry over from champion to
champion. Learning when to attack and not to
attack, is applicable to all champions.
Keep playing with beginner bots and once you
feel you're able to best them most of the time, try
move up to intermediate. You don't have to get masses
of kills to be successful either. Simply staying alive
and having a positive score for whatever role you're
playing, is great too. So if you're a support, it's ideal
if you haven't gotten any kills, yet lots of assists,
with few deaths.
You say you still die, by playing defensively. Well,
maybe you're hanging back a lot, which is what I imagine.
Doing this, isn't the best either. In reality, you have
to balance offensive and defensive. Try harassment. Poking
them with long-range abilities, without taking a backlash.
If you do this properly, the bots, even real players, will
themselves be forced to play more defensively. Getting
last hits, is also important. If you don't get gold, you
won't be strong, as you'll lack good items. That in itself
makes you more easily killable.
Here's a link to the page with all the champion guides:
http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/champions
Even though you perhaps can't follow the runes and
mastery setups, you might still be able to find some
sections with general tips for a champion you own :).
Have fun !

ok first of all thanks for responding so fast. But as i said at beginner bots i sometimes get scores of 20+ kills and only a few deaths, but when i take it up to intermediate it screws up for me. Also i'm level 20 allready so i got acces to the tier 3 runes. if i can get the IP for them.
I will keep your advice in mind and try to pick a champion. and only focus on that one

No problem, it's my pleasure.
I don't think there's much to
worry about. Intermediate bots
are naturally designed to be tougher.
Afterall, bots still don't come near
the cunning you'll see in human
players, so actually, it's good if you're
finding them a bit of a struggle. Once
you're able to best them more, you'll
probably find you fare just a bit better
against real players. Just keep playing, it'll
come :].
When I first started, I experienced Kassadin.
He was incredibly confusing and I didn't know
how anything worked. Time passed, I played the
Game more and then one week where I was off,
I followed a guide from this site. From then
on, I got the hang of him and have since then had
fantastic games with him; also buying my first
skin, for him too. So just keep it up ;)

Honestly it's probably better for you in the long run if you just throw yourself in at the deep end and play against people. The only way you can learn and correct your mistakes is by playing against people smart enough to abuse them.
Back in my day co-op didn't even exist, and I feel like playing extensive amounts of co-op in the belief that they're not ready for PvP and it will help them improve is a trap that a lot of newer players fall into.

from my personal experience, i play coop so much for mechanics, and then went to normals when i really wanted to improve at a greater scale.

Well isn't it perhaps preferred that you don't
go into PVP before you at least can hold your own
against Intermediate bots? To me it's a bit like
when people go into a PVP match and say "First time (champion)"
instead of having had a go with the champ in bot games.

By the way another question? can you get banned or something for being bad in PvP?
People can report you for being an unskilled player,
at which point matchmaking will try to match you better
next time. However, this particular offense isn't a
bannable one. If however you consistently use foul
language, intentionally feed and so forth, then yes,
at some point you risk getting a ban. However, the more
games you play, the less likely a ban becomes. Usually
you'll at least get a warning first. It requires a very
large number of consistent reports to get a ban; at least
a permanent one.

I started playing a couple of weeks ago. but i got some problems.
The first problem is against easy bots i can kill everything with any champion i play. But when i play normal games i die alot playing defensive doesn't work since i most of the time even can't get away. this is the same with intermediate bots.
The second problem is: Bought a champion pack from the store and atm. i got quite a few champions i like to play and i'm good with against beginner bots. the problem is how do i choose one of them to get deeper into and learn how to become good with him. i realy like alot of champions. atm my favourites are: Yi, blitzcrank, darius, brand, tristana, ryze, mordekaiser, jax, sion, and shaco. i know it are alot but i just can't choose. i do own all of these. also have alot of champions i'm still wanting to buy.
This is about it what i have from problems. The only champion i'm kinda decent with in normal games is soraka as support, but that gets boring.
So please help me out, and ofcourse i'm willing to help out when i can in the future.
Greetings a new player that want to learn!
