I'm home and my great time is over.
I find it really enjoyable to celebrate the 4th of July on a vacation. We had camping and the town we camped in has a fireworks show about 10 minutes from the campground, so we go see that as well. Next year we'll do it again.

Okay! My experience! First, I went to the Hudson early (yes, I live in NYC!)
I was three hours early and the sun was beating on my back. I had brought nothing to do, so I just sat there. I was like FML! WHY DIDN'T I BRING ANYTHING TO DO?
So... I waited three hours. Soon enough, at least 2000 people in at area waiting for the fireworks. I smelled fat sweaty people who didn't wear deoderant. I nearly went nuts after standing there smelling that stuff.
30 minutes left. At least 200 people who JUST arrived push to the front. In my head, I was like Fk you guys.
And then the fireworks came on. FINALLY! They set the ****py Macy's Fireworks on!.
After the fireworks. I was stunned. There was nothing new compared to last years. I put up 3 hours of sweat, pain, and suffering just to see another year's ****py fireworks. Next year, I am so definetly staying home watching the fireworks from the T.V.

I went to sleep at about 8 or 9 AM, woke up at 9 PM, watched the fireworks and played video games.
