It has some potential, but their business model has some serious problems. You can almost buy power from what I've heard and there are some balance issues.

You can't really buy power. Everything can be unlocked with experience except for skins. I have unlocked all the classes so far but I still stick with the basic 2 and pwn everything. Also, a friend of mine who's pretty good at FPS consistently got the highest score since his first game.

The balance issues with weapons combined with the permanent +50% EXP you get from buying a pack or something like that.

So far I haven't really found an unbalanced weapon, it doesn't change that much. Most weapons just sacrifice reload speed or aoe for damage and so on.
Also, the xp boost doesn't introduce any reasonable unbalance. Every single free game has such a system. With LoL you can unlock all champions and rune pages with money and get IP boosts to get runes faster. Are you going to say LoL is unbalanced as well? In BLC it's the exact same thing, you get all champions with just one purchase. Dota2, LotR Online, D&D online, TF2, etc.
Besides, no matter how much money you pour into it you'll still get owned by anyone more skill.

So? EA has a bad business model as well, that doesn't mean their games aren't balanced.
You still haven't explained or even hinted at why the game isn't balanced. Why exactly is this game less balanced than LoL, for example?
Also, don't go quoting or referencing totalbiscuit. You're just showing how ignorant you are. If you're going to make a claim at least make sure you know enough about the subject to provide a reasonable argument. Using "because totalbiscuit said so" as an argument makes you look ******ed.
