What blood said makes a lot of sense, his late game his horrible due to the lack of steroid (he gets a boost for killing people unlike tristana / graves / mf that gets it for 0 cost) he has 0 skill to escape. His only viable skill would be his R to keep people in place and yet that isn't even enough to stop them from jumping on you.

What I do know about Varus is that he is insanely strong early game and falls off mid-late game.
Like the rest who have mentioned that Varus lacks any escape mechanism, I agree with them as Varus'
His passive is secretly op tho, if he farms all night long, Varus can seriously deal damage. Though I don't think he's a good AD carry still.
