Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) multi core CPU support and a tablet-adjusted UI. Android 4.0 ([url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F_ke3rxopc]Ice Cream Sandwich[/url]) introduced a GREAT looking UI and loads of usability/UI improvements system-wide, task manager and recent apps in one easily accessed menu, resizable widgets and screen rotation animations. Android 4.1 ([url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5E5revikUU]Jelly Bean[/url]) introduced UI improvements, easier icon and widget moving and project butter. Project butter makes all animations in the UI SOOO SMOOTH and improves the overall performance by optimizing the command pipeline. 65% of all android phones are running 2.3 right now and over 60% of all phones on the market are using Android while I believe roughly 30% use IOS. For me Android 4.0 nailed the look and usability real hard and 4.1 made it smooth as butter. I'm sad that they removed the screen-locking animation on my Nexus S with 4.1 though :([/quote]

The advantage of having a Nexus phone is that you have a phone 100% free of shit. That means that you won't get any annoying apps that you don't want on the phone and you'll always get the latest Android updates a lot quicker than other manifacturers. I just got 4.1 for example, while my sister who's using a HTC phone just got 4.0. Some other manifacturers don't even update to some new versions (you miss lots of bugfixes), HTC are especially bad at updating their shit. The advantage of having a Samsung flagship phone is the hardware. They have good cameras, they're very thin and they've always got the latest cutting edge hardware. The last test was pretty harmless and yet the screen was left in that state. On the second test it was really lucky on the way it fell, if it had fallen like the iphone it would probably not be in one piece. [embed=PbL7ciKmT7g] what do you mean by "Rooting can brick devices"? They reboot more than any other brand. I think that is partially due to HTC being bad at updating their Android.[/quote]
