I would get Magic Pen. I play as an Ap Tank. More on the tank side, so the Ap comes from items. The magic pen is added damage with the items. Usually before major fights (protecting a inhib tower for example, the enemy team will just stand outside the steps. What I would do is poke at them with my . Doing this will slowly lower them until my team feels comfortable to go in.) It may not be the best reason to get Magic Pen runes, but it helps late game.

Thanks for the +1. Aegis is usually gotten from the support on my team so I just stick with the GA to help with my survivability.

You might wanna change the guide title a little. Your title doesn't say what style your build is about. If your title says what style it it, then your guide can be found through search also. People use google search with terms: "AP Cho'Gath build" or Solo Top Cho'Gath Tank build". If your title doesn't involve these then it might prevent some potential users from opening your guide 'cause they think that you guide doesn't offer the style they search for, although it does. This kind of naming is essential for Cho'Gath builds as Cho'Gath can be played a variety of styles: jungle, solo-top, dps, tank, AP, support.
