Of course he is. Especially into the late-game. He can zone out enemy champions from a decent range. Letting your AD outfarm theirs is the best way to get a powerful AD carry whilst minimising their power output.

Then late-game, he can develop into a full tanky-support which disrupts even more. It's like how some play Shen support and then go full-blown tank late-game.

Yorick can also push turrets if need be and he can prevent his lane from being pushed. It makes for a very secure lane, imo.

IMO it's just not viable to play Yorick as a support if you compare him to other support characters.

From my experience playing Yorick in bot lane, lane pushing is controllable. I get where you're drawing conclusions, but there's a large difference in theory and practical application.

if ur harassing your bot lane opponents when playing "support" yorick, your going to end up pushed and thats really gonna help your carry out...

This is exactly how I play Yorick support besides the fact that I don't take flash

Anyways I'd advocate taking CV instead of Flash, but it's up to you.

How support Yorick works:

Bullies lane, gets AD Carry fed.

Ults fed as hell AD Carry in fight.

He is extremely strong in lane. He indirectly supports his carry, by constantly harassing the enemies and distrupting them.

This allows his carry to farm much easier, and makes it harder for the enemy carry to farm.

Also, his ult dramatically helps the carry in teamfights.

You should learn how to code to make your guide look more attractive (links, images, color text, etc.) For example, Omen of Famine. Refer to this guide for details. Otherwise, I think you've done a decent job at writing this guide.
