Its situational I would use the armors quints on malph and rammus but aside from that I would still use my casual quints. But, buying quints for two champs is pretty expensive so unless you play these champs a lot I would not buy them considering its a big waste of money.

They're a great purchase if you top lane frequently. I have a unique rune page for those AD heavy champions, marks of my choice, armor seals, armor quints and magic resist glyphs. You should look into armor marks if you don't already have them as well. They work great on any tank, but I'd recommend health quintessences with armor marks.

And they are situitional
Not sure. I don't see any theory being "crafted" here. It's just a question of whether or not to buy those and what is the reasoning behind the decision.
Sorry if I posted it in the wrong forum.

Ya, I do have armor reds. Usually run them on my supports.
And flat HP quints are soooo damn expensive D:
i never use them for solotop, only for jungling.

I'm unsure whether or not I want to buy them.
I play top lane sometimes as well as several champions who really benefit of having extra armor (
Question is, are the armor quints worth giving up the Movespeed/GP10 or whatever other quints I'm using and how useful are they in terms of top lane counterpicking?
Appreciate the feedback.
