Your best bet is predicting the need for a +health item and going for Rod of Ages before Lich.

If you don't want Rod of Ages, than definitely Rylai's, AD for Fizz is useless. I sometimes (rarely) build Rylai's when there are 2 AD Carry on the other team and I can't seem to stay on the field long enough.

Good guide, +1. Just a quick question: I build defensive for the last slot so it's wit's end for AP heavy teams but if I'm struggling against AD I don't know if Rylai's is better then Frozen Mallet. Which would you recommend?

anyway its pretty basic and not for begginers as u said,would suggest adding some codding and pictures to make it more interesting to watch,anyway +1 from another fizz player and gl
yeah also u should concider getting deathfire's grasp,its amazing to nuke down bruisers or carries w/o ulti :)
