I don't think any support who starts Meki Pendant (usually Sona players) ever won a lane against me. If I see that they start one pot, or one ward and no pots, I will usually be hyper-aggressive and bully them right out of the lane.

If you are capable of playing AD Sona, you dont need a guide, but if you are looking at a Sona-guide you shouldnt try. I've seen too many of those fail horribly. You can build almost any champ as AD, ever seen a Crittlesticks? Besides that, for AD-Sona to be OP she needs to be fed, and which Champion isnt OP then?
And this build is simply different cause it focusses more on CDR than on AP, as the grail gives both its very right there, but for any other AP-item I'd need to give up one actual support item. So if I get more AP then with WotA.

To me it seems like a typical support build. If you don't mind me asking, whats so different from the others? I also dislike how you say AP sona isn't as good as support sona. And AD sona is OP if used right. AP sona has better heals and better damage on her ult. You still would need some Gp5 items due to you still being a support, but getting AP would benefeit your team more. For instance. At level 5, her W does 120 healing If I am not mistaken. You can easily do triple that if you build AP, and the heal actually does something. AD sona is still OP though. It's not even funny.

oh yes Zeke's and WotA make a good addition there, but i think i mention Meki Pendant in my Skills section aswell, but listing it seperately to make it clear doesnt hurt either.

Very well indeed. I like the way you play sona. +1

Any decent support guide should include (at least as situational items) Zeke's Herald and Will of the Ancients. Also you should explain why you don't start with Hymn of Valor, take Meki Pendant over Faerie Charm and Greater SEal of Replenishment over Greater Seal of Armor/ Greater Seal of Gold. You might want to turn on 'comment to vote' while you are at it...
