This was an idea TPB thought about that somehow made the news on some sites, so a Swedish retailer called Webhallen made that D-Link drone page as an April Fools' joke. If you look closely at the article, all the dates are from early this year.
This would never work in reality unless they somehow made them weather-proof and had incredible of wireless connections.
Even if they succeeded with that, they'd be severely limited by hardware power and price. It wouldn't be cheap to build that and the drones can't have much processing power since it has to have very low energy draw to be self-sustained.
