Hi,

This is the first time I open a thread here, I'm sorry if this isn't the appropriate forum for my thread if it isn't feel free to move it to the appropriate forum.

I was wondering how you deal with unfair banns. You know, the tribunal chat doesn't say everything in a game and you can just be punished for the heck of it. Usually you have to ignore all in ranked games because otherwise you just say something get reported and banned for no good reason, ''but it seems like that because you said a bad word boo-hoo'' I think you get the point ;).

You can talk to their support who just laugh at you and give no real advice except stupid auto messages which aren't worth your time writing a well thought out reply about your suspension. Opening a thread on their forums also isn't the way to go, you just get jumped at by the Riot basement dwelling fans telling you how much justified it was and how much you deserved it and that you are the root of all evil etc etc... (god these people are annoying, they must be kids).

So I just received a suspension and in all games I was paired with morons I know and I absolutely hate. Apparently they got me banned as I know the games which I played with them and can recall the chat from 3 months ago pretty accurately when I get to see it. This just adds to the unfairness and is especially annoying if you want to play a tournament. I'm just thinking of making my LoL bot IP farm so I can use a 2nd account for tournament play as this is really dumb, just like most of the player base is.

This just sums it up, screw you LoL I'm going to play some chess and poker. I'm not very interested in the game anymore actually knowing that 7 random ******s that you meet over 300 games can get you banned for 2 weeks is just full ******ed.

It's pretty funny though on war 3 you could pretty much call someone everything out of the dictionary and never receive a bann. Same goes for Star 2. Although it's very rare I found someone harassing another player in those two games, obviously because gaming wasn't as mainstream as LoL was and the community was just much better in war 3.

Sorry for the long post but just wanted to share this with you, might sell my LoL acc after the 2 week suspension, but from my guess this isn't the appropriate forum for that ;).

If you made it until the end thanks for reading I will read/answer replies though.

To add it isn't the first time I was banned, a few months back I was banned for a week and didn't play the game for about 3-4 months or so and decayed a lot in ELO. So getting banned really puts me off the game I don't really like it and I hate the people playing it. I dislike most people in real life though so that can explain it. If you see some ****** with no stable income in the street you would never give him attention since he doesn't really deserve it most of the time, but in LoL those kind of mongloids get in your team. That's a huge issue especially when playing solo queue.

I never really found gamers to be dumb, I found them mostly intelligent but just from playing LoL I can say the average gamer is dumber then the average non gamer and I base that off my own experience. But this goes mostly for LoL since the Star 2 and War 3 community tend to be more interesting. Even in Black Ops there is a higher chance of you meeting someone intelligent then in LoL (no I don't play ****py CoD games but I just know that it's the worst community =P).

Sorry for making it sound like a huge QQ post but don't know how to put it else.

Consider the fact that you agreed to the Summoner's Code - a technically legal binding contract.
Consider the fact that you broke it.
Now consider the possibility that you deserve your ban.
Consider that just because it is allowable to use profanities in other games, it does not make it permissible in LoL.

If you don't like the people, don't frigging play and make their lives a hell, no matter how hateful they are to you.

Not really understanding why you think you shouldn't have been banned. Sounds like you weren't a pleasant person to be around in game and think that should be permissible because you were "paired with morons who I know and I absolutely hate".

It's pretty simple. Don't be an ******* and you won't get banned.

WC3 was/is a fantastic game, but the trolls and *******s that infested it were easily the worst part about it.

Actually Tribunal doesn't have a "direct say" in whether you get banned or not. It is essentially a way for Riot to assess what players consider "punishable" offenses. If you ever actually used the tribuanl system you would notice multiple times that Riot clarifies the tribunal users are less of a "judge/jury/executioner" and more of "second opinion" the cases themselves are decided by Riot's in house personnel.

Well if you are masochistic enough to play with Darkwinjax then go ahead big guy whatever turns you on. I can't be arsed with playing it anymore as the people who do are clearly of an extremely low intellectual level.

It's a **** game due to **** community. I rarely encountered someone offending me with ''cancer'' or putting my mother in a conversation in Star 2, and yes this happens at 1900+ ELO which is around the higher levels of play. It says enough about this game and if you don't like my verdict based on experience then you are entitled to that but I'm just wondering if the game that we're playing is that much different if you never encountered filth.

Btw what price should I ask for an account with 63 champions, 14 skins and gold badge? (annoying decay otherwise I had plat badge and could get more)

But I can find the letter combination ''agikemzn'' offensive. If someone uses it I'm offended. Then the other person technically already broke the summoner's code. So to say it's kind of comparable to making a law where you are to be found guilty if you breath in oxygen. In this way Riot can justify every bann they make but that doesn't make it fair from my point of view.

P.S to the other poster, what kind of WC 3 were you playing? I didn't find anyone trolling and how could you even troll on WC 3? Except team killing or afking in team games but it was a 1 v 1 game essentially or a game where you played maps with. If you had a clan which were pretty easy to find and enjoyed playing certain maps you could play with that. Or you could join a clan that specialized in a map and have an account in there so you can play with them. WC 3 is still played a lot to this day, the thing which ruined the standard game to be played was Blizzard stopping to care after they released WoW and they didn't really did much to balance the game causing orcs to dominate in competitive scene and also non competitive play because they were just overpowered.

I think it can generally be agreed that it is your attitude and not just your wording which causes you to be a prick. If I did not mean offense, then the problem lies in the opposite party being far too sensitive. Or perhaps my attitude is insensitive when they utter such words. In such a context, it is not a bannable offense, since I am unaware that it offends you. Perhaps you should clarify that it offends you. If I continued despite this, then yes, I might be worthy of punishment.

Most people are only human and say insensitive things at time. However, if you behave unmistakably like a ****, it is a different story. In addition, if you continuously use words that would be censored, it's a general indication that you shouldn't use that word repeatedly. If you are dumb enough to use such words despite this, you deserve your bans and I don't see how you justify otherwise.

I'm gonne be blunt here.

You kinda seem like a stupid prick who thinks he's a genius who's super pro.
Not saying you are, I obviously don't know you, but you definately seem like that kinda person :D

Also, I haven't played a whole lot of WC3, but the fact that that community spawned 'QQ' kinda makes me feel like it was ****. :P

FUN FACT: if you report someone or put them on your ignore list you wont get matched up with them in a game again right?
