It gives more sustain, that's for sure, but you lose utility.
Skarner's all about the MS and he really needs to max the shield, not to mention his E has little use in teamfights.
Q and W have to be maxed first. Leave E till 13. Shield got nerfed, but it's still a irreplaceable part of his kit.

As soon as you get the three skills, go to a camp, slam your head into your keyboard, rotate left and right, look at the screen to see if the camp is dead. Rinse and repeat.
If you're ganking post-6, just flash + ult anyone without a quicksilver shash and your job is done.

I'd like to know what you people think of skarner jungle since today's nerf. Is it still worth to max up only Q and W spell early on.
I tried in custom game the path blue>wolves>ghosts>golem first with Q-W then Q-E and ended up with more hp and less time with the Q-E comb (40 second less and 260 more health). It's quite confusing then !
Did someone try different games with ppl and different spell comb ? What do u think about it ?
