I could not care less about your vote to be perfectly honest, and I checked your guide to talon, you have 526 AD with BT maxed, my build ends with 416 AD, that seems great except you are short sighted, your crit chance is 25%, so 1 out of 4 Q or auto attack hits for 1315 not counting crit damage enhancement. With my build, I crit for 1040 70% of the time almost 3 out of 4. I'd rather play those odds, than pray that I get a crit that amounts to 300 extra damage. Another flaw in your build. 0 cool down reduction. talon in an AD caster. You may have an extra 100 raw AD than on my build, but I can cast my abilities 30% more than yours, better utility and over all casting more abilities means more damage over time, I think you should take a look at your build first and do some revision, before assuming it is automatically superior.
I never brought up my own build at any point, but if you really wish to compare them then we can.
You get more crit chance, okay, I'm not gonna deny that because it would be a flat out lie. But my build has more AD in total. You crit for 1040 damage 70% of the time, and in your own words, you'd rather play those odds than pray you get a crit that only does 300 more damage than what your build would. Fair enough. Now, my build takes 420 extra AD, which all scales with my abilities to add a whopping 2730 damage to my burst, which of course, doesn't take into account my base AD x2 because I auto-attack twice, and the base damages from my spells. You rely on your 70% crit chance, where there's a 30% chance your combo might fail, I rely on constant, reliable damage, where there's a 100% success rate. I have 25% crit chance because critting for 1.8k damage is funny, and if I'm completely honest, in a standard build aiming for pure burst, a 4th BT would actually be more viable than an Infinity Edge. 25% crit chance has a 25% chance of taking effect, but your enemy will die regardless of me critting or not. 20% lifesteal has a 100% chance of taking effect, and will kill my opponent even with no crit chance. Like I said, I only take Infinity Edge because 1.8k crits are funny.
tl;dr having more crit chance than my build is nothing to brag about, because my build is still gonna 1 shot squishies, as well as being more reliable and constant with its damage output. Last Whisper > Youumuu's, The Bloodthirster > Phantom Dancer. Also like I said, if you like PD then just take Trinity Force instead, it offers more or less the same stats except it PROMISES more burst damage, rather than increase the chance of doing more damage, but NOT ACTUALLY ADDING MORE DAMAGE.
@the CDR argument. Yeah, I suppose the 30% CDR will come in handy when you have to burst the AD carry a second time because your 70% crit chance failed you. Seriously though, the only cooldown difference you'd really notice in a team-fight after you've already done your burst and killed their AD carry, is cutthroat's cooldown.
author has clearly demonstrated he has a flawed understanding of how talon works.
Please post me your ideal build for Talon and clearly describe how it offers as much utility and consistent damage that is far and away better than mine, I doubt you can, and I doubt you have any idea what you are talking about.
Please reply, I'll be waiting.
Youmuu's is a bad pick for any champ, and PD is a bad pick for Talon. You need a LW somewhere, so I'd replace youmuu's with that, and if you really like PD then just take TF instead, it's similar but actually guarantees some burst damage. PD is more of an AD carry item. Alternatively you could take another BT. It's the highest AD you could take in any 1 item, so there's no harm in taking 2 on Talon.
I just saw that the build was wrong and downvoted based on that. If you fix the build, let me know via PM and I'll check out the rest of the guide and consider changing or at least removing my vote.

You do indeed need W to even cs at early levels if you want to even be noticable late game, any good mid will punish you so hard if you try and attain every CS. You can't push without W which makes his roaming potential so ******** low.
If you don't buy it watch the video, or screen shot me a build of yours. Also you dont use your ultimate while laning unless you are certain you are getting the kill, otherwise you save it for an escape, previous to level 6 you should have a flash ready or your own jungle support, if you are getting ganked like 40 times before you get to level 6 then you as a player are doing something wrong..
completely wrong, your ultimate is part of your burst and at level 6 e > ult > q > ult will kill almost every mid in the game. Only using ult when they gank is a huge mistake and means you'll be sacrificing your burst for...pretty much nothing. Wards and using W on their jungle usually ensures you won't die when you're ganked. Talon really can't roam pre 13, midgame is really his strongest phase of the game and he should be abused in that regard.
well, luckily, I DO play talon, and using your Q to do all your damage is a huge mistake. To harass while maxing Q, I assume you want me to E on them and then Q. This is so unsafe it's ridiculous. You blink on them and Q, and hey hey, their jungler shows up. The 1st time an enemy talon blinks on me and q's, i'm alerting my jungler that this talon likes to blink on me, and when he comes around, i'll bait your e. Imagine if every time kat wants to harass you she has to shunpo on you 1st. I don't buy it. Maxing RAKE for talon mid is 100% the way to go.

But I don't play Talon so what do I know?
How do you clear waves?
you take two levels in W early to be able to keep up with their harass and ****, imo two levels is all you should need to be able to clear efficiently.
How do you clear waves?
Early or late game? In early game, you push your enemy out of lane in small bursts, then like any other champ, last hit after the minions' health is low. Its a waste of mana to spend it all on a couple creep waves instead of conserving it for kills, which is where your focus as a assassin should be, when there is no one pushing your lane, there is no reason to waste skills, use W to secure champion kills, not minions, try it and see if it fits.
This said LATE GAME one rake, with the AD you get from this build will wipe out creeps in one shot, also mana will be less of a problem, so I do it then, but I dont waste the W (60mana) early game on CS when if you are smart about it, is not necessary
If you want video evidence refer to the bottom of the guide and you can fast forward to the times I have listed.
