Title says it all.. I jus bought Jayce because he was on sale and have had a lot of fun with him. I have been doing somewhat well and was wondering if I should try and main him, but I only really want to if he has the viability to be good.

Yes he is viable. He has been nerfed over and over because he was an absolute monster, but he can still dominate a lot of lanes, has great poke, great mobility, nice burst and good anti-carry potential. Has a few issues in terms of initiation (the similar way most single-target gap closers like Xin Zhao do) but he is a great followup to a good initiation (such as Amumu's ultimate).

He is also very fun to play.

FFS this is like that thread asking if one nerf made Diana unviable.

One nerf doesn't immediately make a champion UP or unviable. Look at Irelia.
