Well, I think all champions of The League of Legends are equally balanced, it all depends on who's playing the champion, how good they are at playing the champion, and who they're up against.

I don't play mid much, but when I do its 
Xerath. He is really underplayed, but almost impossible to gank if played well. (Most mids are but Xerath has just INSANE range) His combo forces flashes all the time, but once you have your ult you can usually finish the kill. I highly recommend him, tons of fun.
