Hi there!

Your build looks great, except for one little problem...your offense mastery is off. Unfortunately, it is impossible to have 1/2 in Lethality while 1/1 in Frenzy and 1/1 in Executioner, unless perhaps you can take a point out of Fury to 3/4.

Whew. Made a account to just ask a question... But anyhow, I've seen a lot of different styles to playing Zed and when I see blade of the rune king standard first item for MANY random Zeds I come across; I always wonder "Why?.." I understand its shut down for a few seconds and health and slow but its really doesn't occur to me as something that can replace a more assassin item such as some items you've listed in your guide, especially in the early game. If you could explain that would be nice. (Sorry if this has been asked its like 6:12AM where I live so I didn't feel up to reading through all the comments >~<) Lovely guide by the way, Main Zed personally and I'm always looking for some extra things to toy around with :p.

@ thelegend... I'm curious if you actually read the guide, or just quick glanced the build. I explain why you max your E first (E does more damage in an all out engage) and I explain how I build Zed. If you have a better way, feel free to create a guide.

so if u have 1 point in lethality how u put a point in frenzy if u need 2 points in lethality so frenzy unlock beside that like the guide

2 things i disagree with: 1. PD and Bersker's greaves!!! Zed is an AD caster not a carry, add even more ad or buy a durability item instead of PD!
2. Maxing e first?? You need to max q 1st because: a) It has better scaling=more damage b) enemies can be hit by both of them and recieve extra damage= more damage! oh and btw he shouldn't really be played top unless it's against a squishy eg. tryndamere, fiora... He is much better on mid.

Love this guide. While I usually prefer to play a tankier champ top lane, this made playing Zed much more enjoyable. Zed was always really tough for me to play, but your guide has helped a lot. Thanks!

Hmmm.. I thought it would be much more useful to max q first then e second. Gonna check this out and get back to you. As for everything else, great job. Very descriptive, you know what you're doing. :)

@GrandmasterD his build surprisingly works a lot in top, and I tried ur guide in mid, it works too, but I think he builds aspd to trade with the top laners. For mid I do understand u need to be super bursty, but top is different. I went aspd in top, beats darius (finally after learning how) and irelia, saved by attack speed. Not only that but in teamfights, it's attack speed that almost made me get a penta (singed was too fast) :( so yeah I think this guide works + zed is a viable top laner!

Adding a Guardian Angel will bring you some deff and helps you to survive, and, if you fail to assassinate the carry, you have a second chance to eliminate him, or to escape.
And IMO the item sequence is just a wall of text, is not really interesting to read!

I simply cannot approve of this guide. Zed is not an autoattacker and shouldn't be build like one. IE, PHD and RH are all not optimal on Zed. Also, I seriously disapprove of putting Zed in the top lane.
