Hello. I have a recent problem where in-game sound echoes. It goes something like: welcome to sumo-sumo-sumo-ners rift-ift-ift-ift-ift-ift...ift-ift-ift-ift-ift. All sound effects bug, including fight sounds, ambient music and character voices, I think.

These sound bugs are accompanied by extreme lag, or rather breaks, that make the game unplayable. Has anyone had this problem before? How do I fix it?

I happens in other online games, not only League of Legends, so it's probably a problem in the sound card? I'm uninstalling and reinstalling the game at the moment, but as it happens in other games I don't suppose that will solve it. Videos and offline games work fine, there is no problem with those.

Please help me with this, I'm so hyped for S3!

EDIT: It also happens when I'm using headphones.

I had this before. Tried reinstalling windows, nothing fixed. Turned out to be a hard drive error.

You should try other things like CCleaner, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Check-your-hard-disk-for-errors, running a system diagnosis, etc, but it sounds exactly like the error I had; they needed to replace my hard drive (this was on my macbook). Forgot exactly what it was, but I'm pretty sure it was just caused by age.

You should bring in your computer to wherever you got it, or if you don't have a warranty, back up all of your stuff onto an external drive or a backup system, buy a new hard drive and sata cable (if you are using a desktop), and reinstall everything.

Best of luck to you and I hope you get this resolved =3

I had this problem after my recent Windows 8 installation.
Well I did not encounter it for quite a while now and it was always short for like 1-2 secs.

But I also guess it is a harddrive problem
