This video is so very true.

Sadly 75% of the League community is like he describes it and it's beyond repair. I even feel more stressful after logging out of league cause I have to play with 5 year old brats all day. Dominion, Draft, Ranked, Customs there are the same kind of brats in every game mode I play. Honestly ..our game (League) is very nice..it does have some balance issues and some bugs and OP champs/items here and there but overall it's nice. However..our community sucks so hard..really really REALLY hard!

Much love to Hogopogo and TinyStar for my current and previous signatures <3! If you want you can check out their awesome shops here (Hogopogo) and here (TinyStar)

Eh, I agree with the sentiment but this isn't just the LoL community that does this. It's in most types of competitive community in gaming. People just take games too seriously today and think they all can be pros so easily by their own merits with no help. I play for fun and to learn, but many just read a guide and think they know everything about the game based on that or based on what a pro player says.

I have played Smite, WoW, and fighting games...it's usually the same issue. You have people who are stay at home tryhard "pros" who think they are better than everyone because they have a certain number of wins. Even if you are the best player in the world at the moment if you aren't helping anyone else then your not worth it and won't be remembered.

The other problem is that online communities are a different beast. When it comes to online you never know who is trolling just to get a rise out of someone else which then causes other issues because for 1 guy trolling there are usually about 12 ppl who follow said troll. These days trolling has become more of a job that appears everywhere and it's rather depressing.

It's not even limited to competetive play, most of the gaming scene is infected by this nowadays.

Even if you play stuff like Hello Kitty you'd wind up with a ton of ppl playing it only to troll other player.

Little brats and guys mentally backward in development are just to comfy abusing the safety of web anonymity, that's the biggest problem there is.
If you would meet 90% of those in RL you couldn't recognize them, since they would be WAY less aggressive out of fear someone could snap back.

But with gaming industry gearing more and more towards earning money, they simply don't care.
Ppl will(have to) buy their games more or less anyway.

I don't really mind people who are trying hard to be pros and get competitive. But people who want that and when they lose and don't get it start raging at their teammates calling them noobs and stuff..these people just piss me off so much and to me no matter how old they are they are "5 year old brats" and our community is filled with them. And yes every competitive game has a community like that but they have their communities and we have ours. Our community is the one that is important to us because we all wanna have fun and play competitively in this game but it sucks that we can't always get that because of the many trolls and flamers that play this game.

The only thing we can do against toxic people, is to be untoxic.

It sounds weird, but once you start saying certain things over and over again in different matches, then a few matches later someone else says the exact same things as you did a few matches ago.

What am I trying to say with this?
If you are positive, and even when the biggest flamer in the world flames on you, you just mock him in a positive way, then soon, you will see a reflection of your reaction towards the flamer, a few matches later.

I don't know if it is clear, I had an example but I forgot it when I was writing :P

But I have more of this stuff in my blaming game guide.

Not at all. A lot of the popular games released these days are free to play. Star Wars: The Old Republic went free to play quite fast. There are restrictions for f2p people but it still is f2p. No one really thought they would make it f2p that fast.

Many companies go for f2p atm since it seems to be the best buisness model!
