"I also am Otherkin. Whenever autumn rolls around I can feel my kin-type slowly taking over my body. You must know, I identify as pumpkin. I can control it pretty good most of the time, but when September ends, I just cant hold it in anymore. Whenever Im outside I see my brothers and sisters being chopped into soup, coffee, donuts, cake, drinks, bread - ppl even cut human faces into their skin, making a mockery out of their noble appearance. When I see things like that I cant control my pumpkin urges anymore. My natural instincts kick in. I then sit down motionless, while getting bright orange." - Morgana L

As long as we have freedom of speech they will never give up.
If Sopa was passed even sites like mobafire would have to be censored. cant use that as your Avatar you didn't create it, cant post fan art in other characters likeness, well that depends on how certain company's react to it's passing but with Disney and Viacom being huge supporters of these acts any use of images from those company's could result in a site being shut down censored or taking to court. Mostly applies to youtube but it would effect a lot more then youtube in the long run.

The U.S. government has tried forever to put these things into effect including taxing people who own "violent" video games as a way to show those hurt by the recent shootings happening lately. This is just another one of these cases in Europe and will be shut down quickly by the people, again.
No.
"To put it mildly":
Politicans are arrogant treacherous heretic ****bricks.
European ones are way more uptight, while those in America are more on the ******* side of life...
Not to beat (even more) on the US, but every dictator from every country the US fought against/supported in the past was more reasonable than an american politican.

Welcome to politics! The public doesn't like this (or doesn't care), and we vote, so our politicians can't move while we're yelling at them or face a lot of people upset at them when they're up for re-election, which means that people won't be paying them. But at the same time, copyright holders do like this, and those copyright holders pay our politicians a lot of money (in perfectly legal ways, because our politicians wrote the laws), so they can't stop trying to push through this kind of thing either. So they'll keep trying until the public stops yelling at them.
Anyway, I'd honestly be more worried about this. Fair use is some pretty damn important stuff.
